US Steelmakers Hike Steel Flats Prices

The US steelmakers including NLMK North America, ArcelorMittal North America, AK Steel, US Steel and Nucor have all increased prices for steel flat products.
 
After the adjustment, the ex-work prices for hot rolled coils are at US$670~US$680/short ton and the ex-work prices for cold rolled coils are at US$770~US$810/short ton.
 
Industry sources said that the US steel market has recovered and steel prices have increased recently, supported by the US steelmakers’ price rise.
