[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistic of Korea Customs, S.Korea imported 12,902 tons of silicon metal in July 2014, slightly up M-O-M and up by 30.8% Y-O-Y. The materials were mainly imported from China, Norway and South Africa with import volumes respectively at 10679 tons, 1100 tons and 480 tons.

In Jan-July of 2014, S. Korea totally imported 94240 tons of silicon metal, violently up by 56.1% Y-O-Y.
