In the meantime, CIS steel billet prices offer to Turkey down by US$5/ton, to US$365~375/ton. Turkey's steelmakers have been focused on their present depressed sales of finished steel, and they are unwilling to sell their finished steel to improve any small billet procurement.
In addition, CIS small steel billet offer to Egypt currently for US$360~370/ton CFR. However, Egypt buyers are waiting for CIS small steel quote to fall further.
