[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, U.S FED announced to reduce the interest by 50 points. So, the price of LME nickel went up a little. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12685 USD/T. It was 5 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day. However, the influence was restricted in domestic market of future nickel. The trading volume was less， and the price of future nickel fell down. Today, compared with Shanghai future nickel 2004 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 100 to 300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1600-1700 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 103500 RMB/T. It was 1000 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

The stainless-steel market was in downturn. The ferronickel market was still in lower level. Today, the price of high-grade ferronickel was 895-925 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
