[Fellow]Indonesia's Antam company plans to increase its nickel mine output by 77% year-on-year in 2021

Ferro-alloys.com:Indonesian state-owned mining company PT Aneka Tambang (ANTAM) said in a statement issued on February 13 that it plans to increase nickel ore production to 8.44 million wet metric tons in 2021. This is 77% higher than the 2020 production of 4.76 million wet metric tons.

The sales target for nickel ore in 2021 is 6.71 million wet metric tons of nickel ore, an increase of 103% from the unaudited 3.3 million wet metric tons of nickel ore in 2020.

The production and sales targets for ferronickel in 2021 are both 26,000 tons of nickel, and the production and sales targets for 2020 are 25,970 tons of nickel and 26,163 tons of nickel, respectively.

The target output of bauxite in 2021 will reach 3 million wet metric tons, an increase of 93% from 2020's 1.55 million wet metric tons. The sales target for 2021 is 2.73 million wet metric tons, an increase of 122% compared to 2020 sales of 1.23 million wet metric tons.
