US Imports of less than 99% Silicon Drop

[Ferro-alloys.com]The US imported 5,817.3 mt of less than 99% silicon in the first four months of 2013 and 1,134.3 mt in April vs. 8,124.7 mt and 1,889.8 mt, respectively, in the same 2012 periods. The major suppliers in April (first four months of 2013 in parentheses) were: Canada, 647.8 mt (3,653 mt) and Brazil, 432 mt (1,246.2 mt).
