[Ferro-Alloys.com]In the third quarter, Baosteel had increased the proportion of the independent power generation, successfully reducing the cost by RMB3.88million.

 

To cut down the cost, in the beginning of this year, Baosteel had introduced the program on improving the ratio of the independent power generation, and established the new idea of upgrading its generating capacity, efficiently using the remaining power, focusing on reducing the burden of demand and optimizing the structure of the power using. On one hand, Baosteel had concentrated to enhance the power capacity through improving the function of the equipment and maximizing the power utilization on basis of the existing power plate. On the other hand, it was to reduce the cost by managing the equilibrium structure between the peak and valley in summer.

 

The implementation of a number of initiatives had efficiently cut down the unit power cost of the stainless steel of Baosteel. By the end of the third quarter, the power cost was reduced by RMB9.63million.
