Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]State owned coal mines in North China's Hebei province produced 52.77 million tonnes of coal in the first eight months and coal sales dropped 1.4% year on year to 79.13 million tonnes.
There were 45.35 million tonnes of coal carried by railway during the period, up 0.5% year on year.
Up to the end of August, the combined stocks of the province's state owned coal mines hit 3.45 million tonnes, 1.74 million tonnes more than last year.
