[Ferro-Alloys.com] Recently, China’s export quotes of stainless steel quotes have surged by USD50/ton, driven by the increased prices in the domestic market.

It’s learned that Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group (Tisco), the largest stainless steel producer in China hiked its domestic prices for November and increased its December export prices.

Accordingly, most stainless steel manufactures in China have also increased the export prices by around USD50/ton to around USD2,900/ton.

However, traders said that buyers were expecting for lower prices since the market demand still remained weak
