[Ferro-Alloys.com]Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel rerolling mills in Taiwan announced that its September sales revenue totaled NTD3.093 billion, increasing by 10.2% from a month ago.

However, Chung Hung Steel may post profit losses for the third quarter as its price cut for the steel products were larger than the price dip for raw materials.

It’s learned that the company’s average selling prices in the third quarter were lower than the prices in a quarter ago as it started to cut its prices since this July.

Meanwhile, the company’s purchasing prices of slabs in the third quarter were only around 5%~7% lower than that in the second quarter.
