[Ferro-Alloys.com]China’s imported iron ore market softened on Monday July 29, following corrections in steel billet and rebar prices in the country.
Prices of 63.5% Fe content Indian fines stood at $132-133 per tonne cfr during the day, down $1 from Friday. “The rally tapered off towards the end of last week,” an iron ore trader in Shanghai said. “Many market participants expected iron ore prices to take a breather from the continuous rises.”
