[Ferro-alloys.com] Spot supply of calcium metal was no longer in serious shortage and market price began to drop in China. According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, in Shanxi and Henan Province, the major producing areas of calcium metal, mainstream ex-work price of Ca98%，0-2mm calcium pullet decreased to around RMB 22,700/mt (USD3,661/mt), down about RMB 500/mt. As hot summer was about to end, more calcium manufacturers resumed production and output stabilized. Spot shortage was relived, so market price began to fall.
