Review on China's Inner Mongolia Coal Industry

[Ferro-Alloys.com] Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China's top coal producer, mined 680 million tonnes of coal in the first eight months up by 11.5% compared to the same period of 2011.
 
Coal sales during the period amounted to 690 million tonnes, up 10% YoY. Among them, 270 million tonnes of coal were traded at local markets and the rest 420 million tonnes of deals were made out of the region, accounting for 40% and 60% respectively of its total sales.
